Establishing a Directorate for Planning and Development of University Campuses including new projects, current project, future projects, master plans, general and building maintenance, equipment and utilities maintenance and operations, general services, telecommunictions, street names, roundabouts and gates names and numbering, safety and security of the whole university campuses, traffic, parking, etc.

Carry all the duties of chairman for academic department of 27 faculty members, 6 technical and administration staff, 5 labs and more than 350 graduate and undergraduate students. The second largest department in the college of engineering.
2003-2004 Executive Director – The Center for Strategic Studies – Makkah Al-Mukarramah Governate, Saudi Arabia.
Establishing the center from scratch. Defining vison, mission, goals, objectives, roles, tasks and activities. Also, developing the organization chart and participated in recruitment of employees. Defining departments and units as well as their objectives and roles. Making interviews and establishing job descriptions for employees. Building systems, procedures, and functions as well as planning, organizing, controlling, directing, supervising, following up, and setting up measures for all center major activities. Prepare and participate in center board (chairman prince Abdul Majeed, 25 members) and executive committee (chairman prince Faisal Bin Abdul Majeed, 13 members) meetings.
2000-2003 Deputy Director for Planning and Organizing - General Directorate for Operations and Maintenance, King Abdul Aziz University (KAAU), Jeddah
Developing and restructuring the whole operations and maintenance administration of KAAU (planning, organizing, controlling, directing, supervising, following up, and setting up measures). Objectives, activities, divisions, procedures, operations, job improvement and job description and evaluation were establised, implemented and revised.

Taught the following courses: Job Design and Standardization, Safety Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Work Study, Operations Research, Engineering Statistics, and Engineering Management. Published scientific research papers, supervised graduate and undergraduate students, participated in meetings, committes, conferrences and symposiums, locally and internatinonally.
1999-2001 Chairman, Maintenance Department, College of Engineering, KAAU -Setting up administration & technical systems, procedures, forms,etc. and train employees in the maintenance department of the college of Engineering. Developing computer programs and establishing networks for the department to issue maintenance requests, reports, etc. and track orders using computers

With full authority and responsibility, successfully managed (planned, directed, controlled, and followed-up, etc) all activities of the factory during the start-up and commissioning phases (production, laboratory, inventory, purchasing, accounting, safety and security, commissioning, etc.)
